Chronicle 49 - Moving On Despite Not Wanting To

Life goes on, whether you want it or not. After finishing my last Module for my Diploma, I have to prepare for my Bachelor Course again. This sure is tiring. I just received a letter of acceptance by into the Bachelor Course. While I am supposed to be glad, I'm not so sure anymore. Administration aside, I'm going to need to have some income in order to finance this Degree. Currently, I'm teaching home tuition to 2 primary 4 kids. The disparity between them sure is great. I'm worried that one may not get his Distinctions and for the other one, I'm worried about him even passing. And it's not about intelligence either, just pure attitude. Anyway, 2 students is definitely not enough of an income. Let's hope I get more tuition assignments soon.

Life is getting boring by the minute, I need something to incite my interest again. I am itching to be in a martial arts competition but there seems to be no martial arts competitions of any sort lately in Singapore.

Anyway, I have since upped my daily regime to 100 push ups, 50 sit ups and 100 back raise. As for running, I really intended to. Just need that extra ounce of motivation to get started and maintained. Joel, Wing Kin and I have decided to set aside a weekend day just for exercise. I wonder how long that will last too.

Chronicle 48 - Another End To Another Start

Missed the January post again! It's been 1 month since I've left National Service and have nothing on my hands currently except for my final Diploma module assignment. I seriously lack discipline. It's already my last module and I can't seem to gather the necessary "last burst" of mental strength to do it, and I'm still contemplating whether or not to take up the Degree program.

Studying aside, it seems I still can't hold on to my personal resolution to run everyday. Currently, I'm maintaining 50 push-ups and sit-ups a day so at least it's better than nothing. Recently Joel, Jerry and me went for a cycling outing. It was pretty rigorous aside from the rain in between that compelled us to take a break. However, recently I have been sleeping and waking up at odd hours. I think adjusting back my biological clock for regular working lifestyle is going to be tough. I'm thinking about doing a part-time degree course and to teach private tuition at the same time to finance it, just not sure if it is a good idea but then again, I'm desperate for some income.

Just had a barbeque session with my previous National Service guys. Glad to see those that have ORDed are doing well and those still serving are umm... surviving? Currently, I'm following 2 Korean variety shows: [Let's Go Dream Team Season 2] and [Running Man]. Very entertaining to say the least.
