Chronicle XVIII - POP From BMT To BSLC In SISPEC

Every step I took was killing me, every breath I took was forced. I trudged through sand, mud and concrete with rain and sun. That was the 24km route march on 09/12/2009 - the day of my POP (Passing Out Parade). To make matters worse, I was coming down with a fever, flu and severe cough. The thought of being able to have a full 10 days worth of rest after that day pressed me on. My platoon mates also did their part in motivating me. After the march and the parade, I went home and my fatigue took over but I was very much satisfied.

During the break, F, C and me went to Cineleisure to catch the movie "Bodyguards And Assassins". I didn't really care much about the reformation of China but still the movie was rather interesting albeit ending in a rather tragic manner.

Oh well, and now for some bad news. I am currently posted to SISPEC. Both of my BMT buddies are posted to a driver and signaler respectively. Argh, how envious of their slack vocation. The 1st day in SISPEC started with us "knocking it down" and running around the parade square. We were forced to cut a hairstyle even shorter than BMT being told it was the "Bravo Haircut". Bravo! Let's pray I would get posted to a slack unit soon.
