Chronicle XX - Escape From ASLC

"There can be miracles when you believe..." I kept telling myself that before dragging myself to fall in to listen to our posting orders; the fate that awaits us after BSLC. Going down the list, there were people shouting for joy and jumping around as well as people who slumped with disbelief and disappointment. While waiting for my turn, I was busy assuring my bunk mate and MYSELF that it'll all work out. All that hoping was not in vain as my pal and I were posted to Military Police and 2PDF Security Trooper respectively. Talk about luck. After hugging each other and jumping for joy, we went round comforting the others who were not so fortunate and had to stay.

Then came the Chinese New Year break. Gathering intel from my relatives and friends, I heard many stories about the camp I'll be reporting to soon - Clementi Camp. Aside from the usual aunts/uncles, I made a trip down to Maybank as well. The "hong bao harvest" seems to decline year after year. As the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." The dreaded day where I'll have to revert back to military life soon arrived. Life at my new camp wasn't as bad as I thought. In fact, in terms of rest, I seemed to have more of it in camp rather than at home. Still, I wish time would pass me by faster.

I went with C and F today for the movie "Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief" today. Nothing much to comment about, kinda predictable to say the least. And looks like I'll be staying in Clementi Camp for while. While it sure is a step down from SISPEC, there are times when boredom creeps in. Gonna have to bring in some stuff to keep myself occupied.
