This month sure is lively with the National Day and Youth Olympic Games. And that also means heightened security measures for our base. Furthermore, the new CO has implemented or is implementing some extra duties that we have to cover. My fellow spec and I made a mistake and we were given extra duties as well. Some of my men are starting to "retaliate" against our platoon sergeant. Cold wars, sarcasm and blatant insubordination is starting to show from the shift. This month sure is exciting.
F's birthday is nearing and I'm glad I finally got his presents ready. His presents are the most troublesome to think of to date. Not sure if I'll be able to celebrate his birthday as I'll be confined for an operation on his birthday week.
