Chronicle XXVII - Recovered Hearing

For almost an entire year, I was deaf in my right year. It always seemed as if something was forcefully plugged into my ear canal. Early this month, I decided to go for an ear-syringing treatment. Fortunately, it worked perfectly and now both my ears are working fine.

Something unpleasant happened recently in my squadron. I'm being suspected for something I reported. So much for being a good soldier. I was unfairly confined for more than a week without prior notice. The investigations conducted were also a great waste of time.

MP Command sent 2 Warrant Officers to my camp for a dialogue. For that session, I let my pent-up frustration and grievances since I was posted here loose. While they were sympathetic, they were unable to help directly.

I finally got F's presents off my hands. We went to watch the movie [精武风云]. A great movie for its fight scenes albeit being rather disappointing with the abrupt ending. His presents were presented to him on the way home.

My father and uncle have decided to sell off the family business due to declining business. This issue has been the cause of the tension and unhappiness between my relatives. Monetary issues sure can dilute the "blood that runs thicker than water". While it is a disheartening sight, at least the problems should come to a close once it is sold off if they can settle the division of the proceeds from the sale amicably. My family has decided to go to Korea to take a break from school, work and national service. The only problem is if my overseas leave will be approved.
